While for a conclusive result you will have to get a drug test done, you can watch out for the following signs to ascertain if there is any drug abuse :
- Is the child going through any personality changes or has a previously outgoing child become withdrawn or has a well-mannered child suddenly become violent or aggressive etc.?
- Have they made new friends that you never knew of-addicts will often hang around with fellow addicts?
- Is there any change in physical appearance or a decrease in personal hygiene?
Are they talking about drugs a lot-addicts of may talk about drugs to convince others that they are not involved in drug abuse? - Are there any problems at school/college or in the workplace?
