A daily allowance can be chaotic, and a month is too long for young children to comprehend. They can relate to weeks very well because there’s no school on weekends. A weekly allowance is not as chaotic as a daily one. So keep allowances weekly-this will also give you time on weekends to review what the children are spending their allowance on and how well they are doing.
