Well if your son is introverted in nature then he probably needs time to collect and voice his thoughts. You must first talk to his teachers and school administration about the fact that his personality type is introvert. Also, let them know that they are never to put down your child if he refuses to answer in class or participate in group activities. Then gradually and positively speak with your child about how he must gather his thoughts when asked a question and find his voice and answer it, making sure that you never get pushy.
